Lady Antebellum, Critteraid's newest residentDecember 23, 2011 - In the first half of December 2011, Critteraid was called in by Peter Hamilton of Lifeforce, a Vancouver based organization, about rescuing Lady Antebellum, a cow at large in the area since at least March. Dog with SantaNovember 5, 2011 - CDART's South West BC chapter is hosting a pet photo shoot with Santa on December 3rd and 4th between 1-4pm, at Tisol Pet Nutrition & Supply store, #103-20645 Langley Bypass, Langley BC. Photos are by minimum $10 donation and all proceeds will go to the Canadian Disaster Animal Response Team.

Guinea Pigs Need Good Homes

August 26, 2010 - When the CDART volunteers did their risk assessment visit to CrocTalk in Kelowna in August 2010, they were surprised to see an abundance of bunnies and guinea pigs on the property. Business owner, Doug Illman, advised that they had been dropped off by someone with good intentions to be used as food for the crocodiles. Doug was not able to feed them to Lucy, Abby and Lucky - the resident crocs.

So, being rabbits and guinea pigs, they soon started to multiply.  Read more...
